Pee Spot NYC

February 3, 2024

Thanks! @nycbma

NYCBMA: January off to a great start with the first snowfall in over 700 days. If you’re not too busy and find yourself on standby way too long, here’s a few of our favorite spots to sit around free of charge and doom scroll until that next job comes in. Some of these spots even got toilets for that emergency πŸ’©

-New York Public Libraries:
Our top choices being 18 w53 st. and 445 5ave.(be sure to check out the balcony!)
-Indoor Atriums/Public Plazas:
575 5ave.
645 5ave.
116 e57 st.
590 Madison Ave
55 e52 st.
875 3 Ave.
805 3ave. lower level
David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center(Broadway between 62&63 st.)
1991 Broadway (next to the Apple Store)
60 Wall Street Atrium
180 Maiden Lane
-Chelsea Market
-Essex Market
-Hudson Yards Mall
-Brookfield Place (indoor 🌴)
-Urban Space Food Courts
-Whole Foods
-Barnes & Nobles

A few clutch bathroom spots that I can add:

Bryant Park (Fully Staffed and Classical Music)

Penn Station Port Authority

Grand Central

Trader Joe’s

225 Liberty/WFC Atrium

Washington Square Park

Tompkins Square Park (one of the worst but hey)

Japan 2023 Part 3

August 10, 2023

We visited Tserv on Monday. Thanks Jonny for hosting!

Rocking Tokyo Bicycle Delivery since 1989!

Happy to see they still use two way radios, just like Courio-City ! I learned that in Japan most of the clients still call their jobs in.

The bike messenger scene was heavily affected all over the world due to the past few years events. We are down but definitely not out, can I get a Hell Yeah!

We took trains everywhere! So proud of Luca, they traveled as a Champ!

Tokyo has Eight train companies and they work together incredibly.

Yo The garbage and recycling trucks are tiny compared to the ones I work with at DSNY!

From what I can see, NYC can learn a lot from Japan about reducing waste. Each One Teach One!

Chikappa came out to meet us before we started the Sky Tour Bus Ride. Homie is the current Cycle Messenger World Champion and will be defending in Yokohama at CMWC in September!

Sky Bus Tour was Fresh! Peep some pics

I Love You Luca and I’m so Happy we made this trip together!

Thanks to all our friends in Japan! And Special Thanks to my Business Partner Marc, with his help this trip was possible!
